This incredibly easy ginger beef recipe will be a hit with your whole family. This gluten free meal is easy to make and tastes like you would get at a restaurant, but without gluten!
- ½ pound Thinly sliced beef
- 2 Bell Peppers (red, yellow, orange, or green)
- 2-3 Carrots
- Rice
- ¼ cup vinegar
- ¼ soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon crushed red chili pepper flakes
- ½ tube of ginger paste
- 1 clove garlic
- Corn starch
- Sesame seeds
Stir fry
- Slice beef in to strips 1/8 to ¼ inch thick
- Coat beef strips in a light dusting of corn starch
- Fry beef in air fryer until crispy (approx. 15 min at 390°F) shaking often
- Mix the vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, chili flakes, and ginger paste and 1 teaspoon of cornstarch
- Slice peppers into thin strips (approx. ¼ inch wide)
- Julian carrot in to sticks (approx. ¼ in sticks)
- In a large frying pan or wok heat sesame oil, and garlic over high heat.
- Add carrot sticks tossing to lightly to coat in the oil add a few tablespoons of water to soften the carrots (approx. 2 minutes)
- When carrots have softened but are still crisp add the peppers tossing to mix (approximately 1 minute)
- Add the crisp beef strips and sauce to the pan, toss it all together to evenly coat everything in the sauce.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve with rice.
